Eclipse files for restruct
The dream of Vern Raburn, founder of Eclipse Aviation, is no longer. Indeed, the American manufacturer of the VLJ filed for Chapter 11 protection in US Bankruptcy Court on November 25th. Founded in 1998, Eclipse Aviation created two aircraft, the Eclipse 500 and the Eclipse 400.

Wassim Saheb named Bombardier Business Aircraft Sales Director, Middle East
In Dec. 2008, Bombardier Aerospace announced the appointment of Wassim Saheb as sales director for Bombardier Business Aircraft. He is responsible for all Learjet, Challenger, and Global aircraft sales in the Middle East and is based at Bombardier’s Dubai sales office.
Avjet and Executive Aircraft Sales enter into strategic partnership
In late November, the American company Avjet Corporation sealed a strategic partnership with the company Executive AircraftSales (EAS) based in Abu Dhabi. This collaboration will enable both companies to share their experiences and will strengthen Avjet in the Middle East region in terms of sales and acquisitions of large-cabin aircraft, including the BBJ, Gulfstream and Global Express aircraft.
Air Investment Group takes control of Provid'Air
After one year of existence, PROVID'AIR, a company specialized in aircraft brokering, is changing hands. Air Investment Group, which ensured the financial and operational back-office of Provid'Air, will take 80 % of the shares of Provid'Air SAS as of January 2009.
